Marketing Specialist

This is a great opportunity for someone who just graduated college or recently started their marketing career in the last two years. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing. Together you will enhance JayMarc’s presence online through social media, webinars, and digital advertising, creating content that supports and exudes our presence as a Thought Leader in the home building industry. This role is heavily focused on social media with assistance in general marketing tasks. 10 % of this role is general office admin responsibilities.

A SNAPSHOT OF THIS POSITION INCLUDES…

  • Manage the content calendar for social media, organic and paid. 
  • Maintain a posting schedule on all platforms and create platform-specific content including messaging, images, videos, and graphics.
  • Assist in development and execution of a marketing strategy for video including website, Instagram Reels, TikTok and email campaigns.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop social media campaigns that help achieve JayMarc’s marketing goals.
  • Monitor all social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users.
  • Identify opportunities for audience, traffic, and engagement growth across all social platforms.
  • Analyze performance of our social content and provide reports to the team with insight on a regular basis.
  • Assist with other marketing department responsibilities such as website updates, blog content, presentations, custom home webinars, SEM, digital ads, and CRM management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with strategic industry partners including homeowners, clients, real estate agents, and vendors. This includes assisting with the execution of surveys, reviews, referral programs and customer experience touch points.
  • Work with consultants to help strategize and execute goals (SEM, videographers, copy writer, PR, etc.)
  • Office admin responsibilities includes greeting guests, checking and sorting mail, printing labels and mailing, overseeing conference room scheduling and cleanliness, ordering snack/office supplies, updating images and information on lobby and café televisions, birthday/anniversary announcements and property mapping/photography.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications and/or 1-2 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • A passion for staying on top of trends, including social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and TikTok.
  • Design skills are a plus! (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Video Editing…)
  • The willingness to work hard, play hard. Words that describe your work ethic are collaborative, patient, gritty, organized, go getter, personal and respectful.
