In the design industry for almost two decades, Shauna Brown has been creating beautiful and timeless spaces for residential homeowners and commercial builders across the West Coast. From working with the largest production and custom builders in the PNW to Model Home design in LA to now specializing in high-end new build residential design, Shauna is well versed in managing all aspects of design and installation – from initial concept, generating take-offs and bids, to sourcing materials and creating install details and drawings, working with vendors and installers, to the final walk-through of the project.
Her experience in project management through the years has helped her develop strong business acumen and cultivate long-standing relationships with top national vendors. She was able to gain broad industry knowledge, which has given her expertise in educating clients about cost-effective design solutions to get the most value for their investment. Whether classic or contemporary, across a vast range of styles + sizes of projects, Shauna balances all elements and principles of design- textures, colors, scale, movement, and unity, to create a space that reflects her clients’ personalities and suits their design needs. Working in collaboration with architects, builders, and homeowners to execute their vision, she is extremely dedicated to each project and is well known for her personalized service, intense organization, and commitment while maintaining joy and enthusiasm for every project she takes on.
Born and raised in California and Washington, Shauna began her love for architecture and interiors at an early age. After attending the University of Washington and the Art Institute Seattle, she lived on a beach in the Caribbean for three years, inspiring her passion for Biophilic design. This philosophy that seeks to connect building occupants more closely to nature is integrated into Shauna’s holistic design approach. She is fervent in creating beautiful spaces that inspire productivity, health, and wellness through the use of natural elements and organic materials that represent the local surrounding environment.
When she is not designing stunning spaces for her clients, she loves to be outdoors with her family- and two boys, Wyatt and Jacob – snow skiing, wake surfing, hiking, and traveling. She also loves to garden, cook, and spend time with her extended family and friends enjoying everything the picturesque PNW offers. In her free time, Shauna and her medical doctor sister continue to take steps toward creating their dream of developing and designing a resort-style Wellness and Social Club.
