Born in Akron, Ohio, in 1969, he relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 1979 and has now been in the Seattle area since 1993. He has two children, ages 13 and 10, who keep him busy. Coaching his son’s football for the past two seasons and winning the championship two years in a row has been a huge achievement. If his son keeps playing football, he will continue to coach.
While in school, he participated in football, wrestling, baseball, and track. Wrestling was his top sport; he received several 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place medals. Snow skiing 5 months out of the year is his top adrenaline-filled passion, along with ski racing up at Alpental for the past 22 years. When ski season ends, he switches to his other adrenaline-filled passion, riding his mountain bike……..fast!
One of his biggest achievements in life was purchasing real estate throughout the years. The investments were remodeled mainly by himself and a friend, while a few of the homes turned into rental properties for a positive cash flow. He currently owns a place on Lake Chelan that he rents out as an Airbnb and uses it for personal use.
A quirky fact is that he used to practice and study music for 3-4 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, while taking private guitar lessons so that he could attend advanced classes at Berkley College of Music to become a studio musician for a living.
