Marc Rousso

CEO
Captain Vision

Marc Rousso is affectionately known by his team as “Captain Vision.” Along with childhood friend Jay Mezistrano, they created a national award-winning luxury custom home building company, JayMarc Homes, operating on Seattle’s Eastside. At JayMarc Homes, the passion to “Love Where You Work” runs deep, with entrepreneurial, inclusive, and respectful company culture. Marc’s commitment to servant leadership, authenticity, and transparency empowers the JayMarc team to make decisions and be extraordinary. Employees are encouraged and rewarded for initiating professional development.

JayMarc customers are also invited to “Love Where You Live.” Customers partnering with JayMarc Homes are given an impassioned invitation to become a part of the JayMarc Homes family, along with employees, partners, contractors, and neighbors. At JayMarc, this means delivering a world-class customer experience and working tirelessly to do ‘what’s right.’ In recognition of exemplary customer service, operational excellence, and quality design, JayMarc Homes received a 2019 National Housing Quality Award, from Professional Builder magazine, the first Seattle homebuilder to win in the competition’s 25-year history. A key factor according to the NHQ was “JayMarc’s dedication to delivering a delightful and memorable customer experience, practicing open-book transparency throughout the 36-person company, engaging its trade partners to improve construction quality and earn loyalty, and rewarding employees for seeking out best practices and pursuing continuous improvement.”

Marc’s dedication to the power of personal growth and development was fostered at the University of Washington and the Sloan School of Management’s Executive Entrepreneurship Program at MIT. As “Captain Vision,” Marc has also recently embarked on an Executive Education Master’s Program at Harvard Business School. When not conversing with contractors, sharing ideas with real estate professionals, and talking to JayMarc homeowners past, present, and future, Marc balances his work life with a wonderful family: his wife, Leslie, and their two beautiful children, Lee and Siena.
