Dan was born in Snohomish and has stayed in the Pacific Northwest his whole life. Growing up, Dan enjoyed activities like rock climbing and scuba diving. He played soccer in high school and started carpentry work with his uncle during summers in high school. Dan got his bond and license once he graduated and worked in finish carpentry for ten years after graduation before taking a job in remodel management for a couple of years, then taking a job in custom homes for ten years.
In addition to his childhood activities, when he is not working, he enjoys golfing, longboarding, stand-up jet skiing, trials motorcycles, mountain biking, and fly fishing. Dan says he’s the happiest when he’s golfing and with his family or on a bike.
