Carolyn Peterson has been involved in residential home building for 22 years. She started as an FM 2, progressed up to FM 3, ran her own neighborhood, and was the first female Field Manager for that builder. Since then, she has filled several positions, including Estimating, Purchasing, and, currently, Resource Planning, which entails organizing, monitoring, and communicating the construction schedules. She has a degree in Construction Management from Michigan State University.
Carolyn Peterson (Lial) was born and raised in Chicago, and after a few short stints in Sedona and Boston, she gladly and randomly moved to Seattle in 2000. She married her husband, Don, in 2008. Her life outside of work typically revolves around her fur babies (Hank, Jinx, and Bella Ray Sunshine) and being outside as much as possible (gardening, camping, bonfires, or out on the pontoon boat). A few random lesser-known facts: she attended the Art Institute of Chicago for a year and traveled with Cirque du Soleil for two years as an assistant cook.
